Our client is hiring for a Billing Research Specialist in Alpharetta, GA. This role centers on analyzing daily and monthly billing data for trends and variances, using an analytical mindset to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Billing Research Specialist will manage vendor invoice processing, maintain vendor relations, and reconcile accounts, while also handling special billing reports and 3rd party payment services. This person will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Management to resolve invoicing inquiries and identify root causes. It’s a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and billing experience who enjoys process improvement and problem-solving. (Fleet management experience is a plus, and Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.)

Responsibilities:

• Manage production of special billing reports and 3rd party payment services, including EDI collaboration
• Resolve client invoicing inquiries with internal and external stakeholders, identifying root causes
• Prepare and audit databases and supporting documentation for client billing audits
• Review, analyze, and reconcile vendor invoices and statements for processing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, not required
• 5-7 years of billing experience
• Excellent Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
• Strong financial analytical and customer service skills with keen attention to detail
