External Auditor, Senior or Manager

One of our clients is hiring for an External Auditor or Manager (based on experience) northeast of Atlanta. This role is ideal for someone who is serious about building a long-term career in audit and wants to play a hands-on role in shaping and improving a growing practice. The position starts 100% in-office, with flexibility to transition to a hybrid schedule based on candidate location, and offers strong work/life balance with significant long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and leading audit engagements from planning through completion.

• Collaborate closely with partners to identify process improvements and help streamline audit workflows.

• Analyze audit issues, propose solutions, and contribute new ideas to strengthen the practice.

• Mentor junior staff and support the continued growth of the government audit group.

Qualifications:

• 3–4+ years of audit experience at a larger firm or with SEC, publicly traded, or government clients.

• Strong interest in building a long-term career in public audit.

• Ability to work in a developing, non–“well-oiled” environment and drive improvements.

• Strong communication skills, maturity, and confidence to contribute ideas and insights.
