A national client of 6 Degrees Group is hiring for a Property Accountant and a Senior Property Accountant in the Cumberland area due to growth and promotions. These roles supports a multifamily real estate portfolio and are responsible for property-level accounting while partnering closely with operations and ownership groups. The ideal candidates bring hands-on property accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and a service-oriented mindset in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Must be able to work in office at least 3 days per week.  Excellent benefits, culture and growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day property accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

• Partner with property management and operations teams to support financial reporting and issue resolution.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Ensure quality control, compliance, and timely completion of deadlines across assigned properties.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in real estate or multifamily property accounting required.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

• Professional communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.
