Corporate Accounting Manager – Atlanta, GA
One of our clients is looking to hire a Corporate Accounting Manager based in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for overseeing corporate accounting functions and internal controls in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and experience managing staff in a complex, multi-entity environment. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end close process and review work performed by staff accountants.

  • Prepare and approve journal entries and financial analyses across centralized expense areas.

  • Manage ERP metadata changes and oversee accounting period administration.

  • Support audits and ensure timely, accurate reconciliations and variance analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.

  • 4–6 years of experience in public or large corporate accounting.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams or large projects.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
