Senior Property Accountant

One of our clients is hiring for a Senior Property Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. This role will support the financial operations of a growing real estate portfolio and work closely with property management and leadership teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong property accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity offers exposure to commercial and mixed-use property accounting with opportunities for long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with property managers on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of property or real estate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with Excel and property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage preferred.
