Our client is a multinational public company looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support their global fixed asset, capital project, and lease accounting functions. You’ll work within a well-established controllership team, handling the day-to-day accounting for fixed assets and leases while supporting SOX compliance, close processes, and audit readiness. If you have a solid technical accounting foundation and experience in a complex, asset-intensive environment, this is a great next step.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fixed asset accounting including capital project setup, CIP accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals in SAP S/4HANA
  • Support global lease accounting under ASC 842, including ROU asset and lease liability recognition, modifications, and remeasurements
  • Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support schedules; assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Partner with Operations, FP&A, and Tax teams to ensure accurate capitalization, proper documentation, and compliance with SOX internal controls

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience with exposure to fixed assets, lease accounting, or capital projects
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system; knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 842 a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, complex environment
