Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager in Norcross, GA. This role will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations while supporting close processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can drive process improvements and collaborate cross-functionally. This position also provides backup support to the Finance Director and supports audit activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, cash, AR, and AP
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Support audits, cross-functional initiatives, and process improvement efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and prior experience in accounting roles
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
