6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Payroll Specialist in Cobb County for our client within the construction and industrial services space. This role is responsible for the processing of high-volume payroll, including union payroll, compliance, reporting, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to operate with urgency in a deadline-driven, in-office environment. This role is fully in office.
Responsibilities:

Process and oversee end-to-end payroll, including wages, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits.

Maintain employee payroll data, union wage rates, classifications, and job costing accuracy.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including union reporting and remittances.

Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and resolve payroll discrepancies with management and employees.
Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience required.

Experience with construction or union payroll preferred; Viewpoint Vista experience a plus.

Strong knowledge of payroll, employment, and income tax regulations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; high level of integrity and confidentiality required.
