Billing Specialist

Our client in Alpharetta, GA is hiring for the role of Billing Specialist. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days per week in-office—ideal for candidates who are commute-sensitive and seeking work-life balance. The role supports billing and sales order processing for one of the client’s core business units, working in a highly manual, transaction-heavy environment. Candidates should bring experience in ERP systems, comfort with changing priorities, and a detail-oriented mindset. Prior exposure to billing in software or tech environments is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and billing cases with accuracy, handling exceptions and client updates.

• Work collaboratively with sales and support teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Maintain and update customer billing records in the ERP system.

• Assist with reporting and analysis related to billing, including month-end activities.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience, ideally in a software or tech environment.

• Experience working in an ERP system; manual processing experience strongly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; pivot tables and VLOOKUP a plus.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
