Accounting Manager

Our client in the Atlanta area is hiring for the role of Senior Accountant.
This position will oversee full-cycle accounting responsibilities for retail operating companies within a multi location industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and experience in month-end close processes. This is a hands-on role with ownership over financial reporting and reconciliation activities. This role is hybrid and will not accept fully remote applicants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping and general ledger activity for assigned retail entities.

• Prepare and reconcile monthly OEM financial statements and related schedules.

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Analyze financial data, present findings, and support process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a retail, automotive, or similar industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices.
