Our client in Atlanta, GA is hiring for the role of Senior Accountant. This fully in-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger work. This is a key opportunity to join a collaborative accounting team focused on improving financial accuracy, internal controls, and reporting efficiency. The right candidate will have experience in fast-paced environments and a commitment to precision and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage balance sheet reconciliations across various accounts including cash, AR, AP, inventory, and accruals.

• Analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and work with departments to implement resolutions.

• Prepare financial reports and support documentation for audits.

• Lead or contribute to initiatives that strengthen internal controls and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on reconciliations.

• Proficiency in accounting systems (PDI/Enterprise or Great Plains a plus) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
