Our client in Atlanta, GA is hiring for the role of Financial Reporting Accountant. This position supports the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and focuses on the preparation of periodic financial statements and SEC filings. The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP knowledge and SEC reporting experience, with a background in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and support accurate and timely SEC filings, including work papers and binders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliant financial reporting.

  • Conduct GAAP and SEC research and assess impacts on accounting processes.

  • Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-track preferred.

  • 2+ years of relevant finance experience, including SEC reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting standards; Big 4 or large regional firm experience preferred.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication abilities.
