Senior Accountant Contractor

Our non-profit client in Alpharetta is hiring for the role of Senior G/L Accountant Contractor.  They are working on a hybrid schedule, in the office T, W, Th and working from home on M, F. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform month-end closing procedures
• Knowledge of GAAP for analyzing financial reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with Finance team and provide customer support to internal customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
• Two to four years’ experience in the accounting industry with solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of accounting software packages, NetSuite preferred
