6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior Accounting Analyst in Atlanta, GA.
This position plays a key role in financial reporting and analysis, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to supporting both corporate functions and operational teams. This is a great opportunity for someone pursuing or holding a CPA license and looking to contribute in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

  • Perform financial analysis and reporting for management, including ad hoc projects.

  • Research technical accounting issues and provide guidance to leadership.

  • Support internal controls, documentation, and both internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred.

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting a plus.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
