Senior Accountant

Our client is a dynamic, rapidly growing organization that is centralizing its accounting operations with a vision to reach $1B in revenue. This hybrid role offers the chance to be part of a high-growth, project-driven environment, working closely with various departments and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and review month-end close procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with the annual external audit and prepare state sales and excise tax filings.

• Mentor and train staff accountants while supporting various accounting special projects.

• Maintain accounting systems and SharePoint sites, and participate in system migrations and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA designation preferred.

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities across all organizational levels.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems.
