Our client in Atlanta, GA is hiring for the role of Senior Manager of Accounting. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a CPA with deep technical accounting knowledge and a passion for process improvement. The role is highly visible and influential, partnering across departments to drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can mentor a team and navigate the complexities of retail accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly close activities including journal entry review, reconciliations, and analysis.

• Ensure GAAP compliance and support internal financial reporting processes.

• Lead process improvement initiatives and implement financial systems/tools.

• Coordinate external audits and manage internal control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA license.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in management.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and retail accounting practices.

• Prior Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
