Senior Property Accountant

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior Property Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading real estate firm with a diverse portfolio across multiple states. This role involves working closely with Property and Asset Management teams, providing essential accounting services for mixed-use properties in the Atlanta region.

Responsibilities:

• Perform property and operational accounting for large mixed-use properties.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and financial statements.
• Monitor cash requirements and prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Support the construction management process and oversee accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of real estate accounting experience, particularly in retail/office management.
• Proficiency with MRI, Kardin, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and excellent problem-solving skills.
