Our client is hiring for a Real Estate Accounting and Reporting Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This role sits at the intersection of accounting and real estate operations, working closely with senior finance leadership to shape how the company understands its own performance. The Analyst will prepare and analyze key financial and operational reports that leadership relies on for decision-making, with regular exposure to the VP of Real Estate Accounting, Chief Accounting Officer, and other senior stakeholders. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants direct visibility into how a real estate organization operates from the top down. Beyond day-to-day reporting, the Analyst will also get pulled into special projects that build a broader understanding of both the accounting function and the real estate industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting package reviewed by senior leadership
- Analyze and prepare variance reporting across key operational metrics for the COO
- Partner with senior leaders to build out reporting and maximize the accounting system’s capabilities
- Support budgeting and quarterly forecast revenue analysis alongside the Financial Reporting Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience required
- CPA license or active pursuit of licensure required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
