Our client is seeking a Controller to oversee all property‑level accounting and financial reporting. Reporting to the CFO, this role leads the accounting function, manages internal and external reporting, and partners closely with senior leadership and ownership groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all property‑level accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger activity.
- Manage internal and external reporting requirements for leadership, owners, lenders, and partners.
- Support treasury functions including cash management, debt compliance, and banking relationships.
- Lead annual budgeting processes and prepare supporting documentation.
- Direct external audits, including schedules, supplemental reporting, and auditor communication.
- Manage partner distribution calculations and partnership reporting.
- Drive process improvements, policy development, and accounting standardization across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong background in property accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience managing audits, budgeting, and partnership reporting.
- Proven ability to lead teams and build scalable accounting processes.
