6 Degrees Group is recruiting for an Accounting Associate for our client in the real estate investment sector in Atlanta, GA. The role supports the Controller with financial reporting and offers exposure to various real estate asset classes, including office, multi-family, and retail.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounting data and prepare journal entries.
  • Reconcile cash and investment accounts monthly.
  • Review invoices, process payments, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with tax deliverables and special requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience, preferably in real estate accounting.
  • Proficiency in Intacct (Sage) and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
