Alpharetta based company is looking for a strong  Senior Accountant, to be a part of a fast growing team!   As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for providing professional accounting support to a variety of financial functions  with a primary focus on monthly reporting. You will ensure that accounting, audit and reporting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles. The Senior Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller and will help provide leadership and coordination to the company’s accounting function. This role will also be involved in process improvement activities geared toward creating more efficient, effective, and repeatable processes that drive timely and accurate financial reporting. The role will  play a large part on a small team and will have frequent interaction with all levels of the accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to,  Accounting for all banking activity and ensuring  that accounts are reconciled timely.  Accurately recording revenue each month and working to automate the daily journal entries. Assisting with the development of policies and procedures to accurately capitalize, track, and dispose of fixed assets.   Provide a high level of customer service to cross functional departments.  Assist with tasks outside of their realm of responsibility to promote a strong sense of team.  Work on ad hoc projects and/or report deliverables as business needs dictate.

Qualifications Include

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting 

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience 

Comfortable manipulating data in excel 

Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
