Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. This role is responsible for handling a variety of accounting activities including: balancing operating cash deposits daily, recording all cash entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing accounts receivable balancing reconciliations. Requirements:

  • College degree is preferred
  • 4 or more years financial accounting experience required
  • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Experience with Great Plains Accounting Software or equivalent ERP system
  • Experience with vlook-ups and pivot tables in Excel
  • Local candidates only
